NAS Sigonella Visual Arts Exhibit

Sigonella Child and Youth Programs Art Exhibit!

We are excited to announce we are once again able to participate in the Boys and Girls Club of America National Arts Contest. This event celebrates the creativity, hard work, and resilience of the youth in our community through the visual arts. In coordination with Month of the Military Child, we are pleased to be able to show our appreciation and support of our military youth. The power of self-expression and creativity has been a unifying outlet for our youth during this pandemic.

To celebrate, NAS Sigonella Child and Youth Programs will host a virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the exhibit to the public. After the ceremony, the art exhibit will be open from Tuesday, April 27 through Sunday, May 2, 2020, for the community to enjoy at their leisure

All Sigonella youth (ages 0-18) are able to submit their artwork. The categories for judging are broken down into age groups of 6-9, 10-12, 13-15, and 16-18. Special guest judges will determine winners for every category within each age group. Youth ages 0-5 are still able to submit their artwork to be displayed at the exhibit, however, they will be exempt from the judging process.
