Autumn Fest

Autumn Fest 2026

MWR Sigonella will host Autumn Fest on NAS I this year, sponsored in part by our Gold Level Sponsors, USAA, Catania Tattoo Convention, and Yamaha!

  • Saturday, October 24 from 4-8 p.m. 
  • Open to U.S. Military, Dependents, DoD Civilians, Contractors, NATO ID holders & other employees of NASSIG with access to NAS I.
    (Instructions for sponsoring guests will be communicated by NAS Sigonella through the All Hands Messages. For more information, please contact base security.)

Autumn Fest will bring out all the fun including:

  • Trunk or Treat supported by the Navy Exchange (2-4 p.m. before the event)
  • Kid’s Zone Inflatables
  • Cornhole Tournament
  • Live Music & Entertainment
  • Food Vendors
  • Face Painters/Balloon Artist
  • Halloween Costume Contest hosted by USO Sigonella
  • Haunted House presented by PW
  • MWR Beer Tent with Commemorative Pilsner Glass Sales
  • 18+ Outdoor Lounge
  • and much more!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

  • Volunteers are needed and official LOAs will be provided. Please contact Chris Bendix at max.c.bendix.naf@us.navy.mil if you are interested in volunteering as there are multiple opportunities available.

 

 

Event Details:

FESTIVAL:

  • Registration: Registration is not required for those attending the festival
  • Price: Admission to Autumn Fest is Free, however, fee-based amenities and activities will be available including:
    • Food Vendors
    • MWR Beer Tent & Pilsner Glass Sales
    • **If Cash or Euro Only, $1=1 Euro
  • Time: 24 October 4-8 p.m.
  • Location: NAS I Midtown Courtyard
  • Open to: U.S. Military, Dependents, DoD Civilians, Contractors, NATO ID holders, other employees of NASSIG with access to NAS I.
    -Instructions for sponsoring guests will be communicated by NAS Sigonella through the All Hands Messages. For more information, please contact base security.
  • Parking: We kindly ask that guests do not park on SS-192, the street that runs in front of the NAS I installation. For base access ID cardholders, parking will be available on base except for Midtown & ITT parking lots (closed for the festival).
  • Event Activities: The festival will feature kid’s zone inflatables, costume contest hosted by USO, cornhole tournament, live entertainment, food vendors, MWR beer tent with pilsner glass sales & an 18+ outdoor lounge area and more!
  • POC: For general questions, patrons are directed to call Community Recreation at 624-4777; for additional info or patron issues, please call Chris Bendix, Community Recreation Director, at 624-0503.
  • Shuttles: MWR will supplement the regular base shuttle with additional shuttles to and from Marinai and NAS II. A Shuttle schedule will be published by the day prior to the event.   
  • Pets: Pets are NOT allowed for this event. Please do not bring any animals with you to the event and leave your furry family and friends at home.
  • Alcohol: Alcohol will be available for purchase at the MWR Beer Tent, outside of Connections Bar, and at various vendors during the event.  
  • Smoking: Smoking is NOT permitted at this event.
  • Contraband: Knives of any size (including box cutters and sharp objects), BB Guns (Air Soft), slingshots, fireworks of any kind, illegal drugs, and any other items the CO deems as contraband are not allowed. If the item presents a potential threat to the base, please do not attempt to bring it to the event.
  • Dress Code: There is no dress code for this event, however, Halloween costumes are encouraged!
  • Restrooms: Restrooms will be available in Midtown for patron use.
