Nebrodi Park is a beautiful natural area, off the beaten path near the northern coast of the island. Hike through woodlands and explore the waterfall of Catafulco. The water at the base of the waterfall creates a natural pool called Marmitta dei Giganti, or Giant’s Marble. The hike is 4.5 km and will take an estimated 2-3 hours. Wear long pants, good hiking boots and make sure you keep an eye out for the famous Sicilian black pigs! After the hike, enjoy downtime in the town of Floresta to celebrate the Ottobrando Festival. Grab lunch and wander through the extensive number of handmade products, craft booths, and food booths that line the streets.
