Vulcano Island: Hike & Swim

Cost: $100/$90 Liberty (Includes transportation, ferry, guide, and entrance fees. Bring euros for food and souvenirs)

Difficulty Level: 3.5 - Levels are from 1 (easiest) to 5 (hardest)

Start your trip to Vulcano Island with an optional hike to the top of the island crater (pending daily activity levels). Spend the remainder of the day relaxing at the Geothermal pools on the island or swimming in the ocean. Afterward, spend some free time at the local shops and grab a bite to eat. Please note the following: The geothermal pools and mud have a very strong sulfur odor. Bring an older swimsuit (the mud may stain and the smell can’t be removed) and a bag for your swimsuit, a change of clothes, toiletries, and snacks for a long tour day. The registration deadline for this trip is September 23.
