Hike: Catafulco Waterfalls

Nebrodi Park is a beautiful natural area, off the beaten path near the northern coast of the island. Hike through the woodlands and explore the waterfall of Catafulco. There, the water at the base creates a natural pool called Marmitta dei Giganti, or Giant’s Marble. The hike is 4.5 km and will take an estimated 3 - 4 hours. Wear long pants, good hiking boots, and make sure you keep an eye out for the famous Sicilian black pigs! Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Agriturismo Le Due Palme for a traditional Sicilian lunch.
