Hike: Mt. Sartorius

Join us for a hike through the forested slopes of Mt. Etna North (Mt. Sartorius). This trip is easy to moderate intensity, and you must be able to hike the trail terrain for 1-2 hours (2.5/3 miles). Our guide will point out interesting areas on the volcano. See one of the oldest conifer forests in Sicily, with trees from 200-300 years old, and seven of Etna’s extinct volcanic craters all in one hike! Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Note: Please bring water & snacks and wear layers.
