Read, Renew, Repeat! This year's Summer Reading Program will focus on the idea and practice of
conservation. Read and learn about protecting our environment and the world around us, as well
as restorative methods of personal care and development.
 
Logging will be available starting June 1, and prizes can be claimed until August 30. Register here

June 18 - Summer Kick-off Party
All Ages
3:30-5 p.m.
Visit the library today to kick-off this year’s Summer Reading Program with fun games, activities, and
snacks! We’ll help you get registered, give you your first prize, and tell you all about this summer’s
programs and awards.
 
June 26 - Early Literacy Full Steam Ahead : Animal Book Buddies
Ages 1-5
10:30-11:15 a.m.
Today at story time, learn about different endangered animals and the environments where they
live. Children will then choose a puppet and book and take turns reading with our new animal
buddies. Stay after for socializing and a fun craft.
 
July 2 - Plastic Bottle Fairy House Nightlights
All ages
10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Bring a used plastic bottle (personal size works best) to the library and recycle it into a cute little fairy
house nightlight. The Library will provide all the supplies you need.
 
July 9 - The Greatest Showman
All ages
5-6:45 p.m.
Today enjoy the beloved musical, "The Greatest Showman", which highlights themes of personal growth,
healing conflict, self-confidence, and the importance of finding your tribe.
 
July 15-19 - Conservation Posters
All ages
10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
The Library will have art supplies available all week for you to create a poster meant to encourage others to conserve resources. There will be suggested topics to get you started, or feel free to come up with your own. Select posters will be up for display throughout the Library, so bring your best ideas and talent!
 
July 23 - DIY Natural Cleaner
Ages 18+
4:30-5:45 p.m.
Today, learn how protecting the environment and caring for our health can work together, then create natural house cleaners using essential oils and reusable spray bottles. Adults only please.
 
July 30 - Read, Renew, Repeat Game Night
Teens+
4:30-6 p.m.
Let's get together to play beautiful board games based on the natural world and conservation. Games
available will include Living Forest, Wingspan, Meadow, as well as playing cards.
 
August 6 - Summer Reading Closing Party
All Ages
3:30-5:30 p.m.
Close out the summer with us by getting outside and enjoying fun lawn games like corn hole, sack races, and giant bubbles!
